Mystery of the Missing Brass Bell Solved!

Mystery solved!

One of the club’s most solemn traditions for a century has been the ringing of a brass bell to mark the passing of a member. For the last several months the bell has been missing, and when it didn’t turn up it was thought that maybe it had been stolen.

But this week while we were searching for a piece of missing trim, we looked on top of the large wooden armoire in the first floor card room. We didn’t find what we were looking for, but we found something even more important, the missing brass bell. We have no idea why it was there, but we’re glad to have it back.
