New decking and other updates!
New Decking & Handicap Ramp
The club has new decking and rails on the ramp and new decking on the porch. And most of the ugly old walkway along the building has been removed. Therenalso nic new matching handicapped parking signs along the wall. Thanks to Bill Peterson for making this happen!
Better Bumper Action
There are some new bumpers on our pool tables, thanks to Bill Peterson. “It plays much better. The old bumpers were worn out and did not rebound as normal ones do,” Bill says.
Better Social Action?
Some of the six foot round tables were worn beyond repair, so we needed to buy a few more round tables. This time we bought some five foot tables. They’re now here – although the delivery sent the tables all over before they arrived. Board members wanted to test this size to see if it might be easier to hear and converse across the table. We’ll be eager to hear member reactions.
Dinner Note
While sitting at those tables members can have a glass of wine or beer or cider with dinner. This follows a membership vote on alcohol policy.
Comedy Relief Improv provided great entertainment after the January 9 dinner. These actors are quick and creative. Leader Peter Jacobs welcomes new members Wednesday evenings at 7 pm.
